How do the Water Park and Spa & Wellness differ from each other? What services can you find in the Spa area?
The Water Park has pools and water slides for people of all ages - wild water slides for those who enjoy speed and pools for relaxation. Spa & Wellness centre is a relaxation area that is designed for adults who are over 20 years of age. The area comprises six saunas (traditional sauna, two steam saunas, bio sauna, spruce wood sauna and stone sauna), warm water pool, mineral water pool and Salt room. The Spa & Wellness centre also has treatment rooms where you can enjoy different types of treatments for an additional fee. Both areas have the café-restaurant Café Maya, where you can purchase light savoury snacks, salads and bread rolls, among other things. In addition to alcohol-free drinks, Café Maya also serves beer and wine.
What is included in the Spa & Wellness entry fee?
When you purchase a Spa & Wellness entry ticket, you can use the services of both the Flamingo Spa Water Park and the Spa & Wellness centre for a total of 3 hours. The entry fee includes a bath towel. Treatments can be purchased for an additional fee in the Wellness area. The treatment prices can be found from the Flamingo Spa’s website under the link “Wellness”.
MHow do the electronic wristbands work?
The wristband allows you to enter through the gate one by one. The gate rotates only once with each wristband. Each wristband also entitles you to one electronic locker. The locker closes and locks with the wristband. You can also upload credit (money) to the wristband or make the wristband a payment wristband with your credit card. If you upload credit, you will get the unused credit back in cash when you leave. If you have chosen the credit function, the restaurants will ask for a signature when you purchase something, but the purchases will not be debited from your credit function yet. If you choose the credit function, the purchases are added to the wristband and are to be paid at the cashier when you leave. Credit purchases can be paid by cash, debit card or credit card.
How do the lockers work? Do you need coins?
The lockers are locked with the electronic wristbands. Therefore, you do not need coins. You put your own items in the locker and make sure that nothing gets stuck between the door, as otherwise the locker may not work properly. You close the locker door and hold your wristband up to the reader. The locker is normally locked when the reader’s red light is on. For small valuable items we also have small free of charge Safe Box lockers, which are locked with normal keys.
Can you rent swimwear, bath towels, bath robes or slippers from the Flamingo Spa?
Yes you can. The swimwear rental charge is €7. You can rent a bath towel for €5, and a bath robe for €5 if you use the Spa & Wellness services. Normally, the bath robe rental is €10. Slippers can be bought from our main reception for €4 a pair.
Can you pay with a sports voucher?
Finnbody’s Company ticket is valid in both the Water Park and the Spa & Wellness centre. Water Park entry = 4 Finnbody company tickets, Spa & Wellness entry = 6 Finnbody company tickets.
Do men and women have separate dressing rooms?
Yes. There are also free hairdryers.
What are the directions from the reception to the Water Park, the Spa & Wellness area or treatments?
From the reception, walk to the dressing rooms. After changing your clothes, walk to and then through the shower area in order to access the Water Park. Next to the Water Park’s pool restaurant, the Spa & Wellness area has treatment rooms, where you can enjoy different treatments. There is also a Wellness reception where you must check-in before your treatment appointment, it is located in the Spa & Wellness area. Wellness therapists will come and collect you when your treatment is due to start.
Do groups need to make an advance booking before coming to the Water Park or Spa & Wellness area?
It is advisable for groups with over 10 people to notify us beforehand so that we can prepare the wristbands and agree on the payment methods in advance. Group price (-10%, min. 10 people) also requires pre-booking and joint payment.
Which treatments can you have during pregnancy?
Ethereal oils are used with most treatments. Their use is not recommended during pregnancy, as there are no scientifically proven facts as to their effects. If pregnancy is mentioned when making a reservation, we can leave the ethereal oils out of the products when making them, if the customer so wishes. Massage treatments do not necessary suit pregnant women, as the treatment is done with one’s head facing down thereby putting pressure on the belly
Treatments deemed suitable during one’s pregnancy: Hand Bath, Hay Bath, Immediate Beauty, King’s Bath, Rasul, Sabbia Med, Salve-In-Terra and Soft Pack System I.
Can you buy gift vouchers that can be used in the Spa & Wellness centre and for treatments?
Yes, all of our gift vouchers are set-value gift vouchers that can be customised as follows::
- Entry gift voucher: The gift voucher entitles entry into the Water Park/Spa & Wellness for one/two or more people. The total value of the gift voucher is not shown. The gift voucher’s price is the number of the entry tickets purchased, i.e. Water Park ticket €20/person and Spa & Wellness ticket €32/person.
- Set-value gift voucher: The gift voucher is for a specific value. The price of the gift voucher is the amount that you wish to put on it. The receiver may use the gift voucher for entry ticket/tickets, Wellness treatments or for purchasing Flamingo Spa Shop’s products.
- Treatment gift voucher: The gift voucher is for a specifically chosen treatment and the price is not shown. The price of the gift voucher is the price of the chosen treatment.
The gift vouchers are valid for a year from the date of purchase and they can also be used for purchases from the Flamingo Spa Shop.
Where can you enquire about items that were accidentally left behind in the spa?
We return lost property every Saturday to the Found Property Office, from where you can enquire about them.
